Hanner Cant takes place in the small village of Pontrhydfendigaid, set in the heart of wild west Wales between Aberystwyth and Tregaron. The village is home to a huge pavilion, known as Pafiliwn Bont, built during the 1960s and rebuilt recently following a fire. Many legendary Welsh gigs have taken place here, from Twrw Tanllyd in the 1970s to Rhyw Ddydd Un Dydd and Noson Claddu Reu in the 1990s. We’ll be taking over the pavilion and the vilage hall for the weekend, to provide three stages of non-stop music.
The pavilion in the centre of Pontrhydfendigaid, Ceredigion, about 15 miles from Aberystwyth, 5 miles from Tregaron and 17 miles from Lampeter. Map and directions.
